“처음에는 구제 차원에서 긍휼 사역으로 시작하였습니다. 한국에서 파송하는 주류 선교사에 미치지 못하는 현지 사역자들, 특히 소수 종족 출신이며, 빈민 교회가 대다수였으나 세월이 흘러 마침내 산을 이루고 강을 이루어 하나님의 선교의 배(YMBB)를 띄우게 되었습니다.
선교의 모든 것이 하나님의 은혜이며, 여러분들의 기도와 성원이 없었으면 애초부터 불가능한 일이었습니다.
펜데믹 시대에 선교는 더욱 어렵다고 합니다. 그러나 하나님은 아시고 준비하셨습니다. 본회의 선교사님들이 현지에서 동족과 동고동락하면서 양식과 채소와 의료품으로 섬기고 자녀들을 지속적으로 양육하는 일에 매진하고 있습니다.
무엇보다 화목하며, 서로 배려하는 선교사님들이 큰 힘이 되고 우리들의 명예이며 감사입니다.
바라기는 윌리암 케리와 허드슨 테일러, 네비우스 선교사님들이 주창하였던 토착 선교(Native-mission)의 열매가 가시화 되는 그리스도의 들판을 인도와 부탄, 네팔과 미얀마에서 보기를 소망 합니다.”
At first, it started as a mission in the level of charity missions. In particular, local missionaries from ethnic minorities, although they does not reach the level of missionaries dispatched from Korea, worked for poor churches and, as time passed, eventually formed mountains and rivers and to float the ships of God's mission.
All of the mission is by God's grace, and it would not have been possible from the beginning without your prayers and support.
Missions was more difficult during the pandemic, but God knew and was preparing for the next step. Our missionaries work hard throughout the day, living with their classmates in the area, providing food, vegetables, and medicines, continuing to raise their children. The harmonious and caring missionaries are our great strength, our glory, and our grateful heart. We want to see the field of Christ in India, Bhutan, Nepal and Myanmar where we can see the fruits of indigenous missions advocated by William Carey and
James Hudson Taylor and John Livingston Nevius.
